Opened in 2009 our FUNctional Training Studio is a new centre
for performance, unparalleled in Belgium. This energy-filled
and multipurpose room is home to particularly innovative and
functional apparatus using 3 dimensions.
What is functional training? In simple terms,
this type of training consists of exercises or movements which
allow you to strengthen selected muscles each day.
Think for example of all the times you've been hurrying up the
stairs, bending down to pick something up, pulling, pushing,
turning round quickly… and also when you're unloading the shopping,
running to catch the bus, carrying a child, getting into the car,
not forgetting the movements you do for enjoyment: golf, tennis,
football.
This type of training targets many of the muscle groups,
improves the nervous system and activates a stabilising response
allowing the body to strengthen itself and become more athletic.
Thanks to this training, you'll feel much stronger during your
everyday life.
