It is very important to have good eating habits during pregnancy. Your baby will be used to all the flavors you have eaten, fish for example or vegetables. Eat rather organic local season products to avoid pesticides and heavy metals usually found in manufactured food. Choose also pasteurized cheeses or milk instead of raw milk but avoid UHT products, which plays pro-inflammatory roles and have an impact on allergies. But be careful, shelf life of pasteurized products is limited.
Eat proteins at every meal but do not exceed the recommendations (1gr/kilo/day) and don't skip carbohydrates as it is the first source of energy. Choose rather whole grain breads & pastas (wheat, spelt, rye,…) and drink still water all day long. Do not drink sodas even light or zero : it is harmful for you and your baby.
