0 – 2 years

Babies’ first food must be either breastfeeding or bottles with adapted milk sold at the chemist’s. Breastfeeding is better of course but you have maybe chosen bottles for different reasons.

2-5 years old

Do not give UHT milk to your child but organic pasteurised milk. You might also give plain yogurts.

Stop mashing the food and introduce little chunks. Do not give a large quantity of raw vegetables.

6-12 years old

Your child will eat the same way as an adult with adapted quantities. Do not give too much protein: meat or fish : size of the palm of his hand at every meal.

12 – 18 years old

A balanced diet consisting in giving the big 5 : proteins (meat, eggs, fish, lentils,…) + carbs (potatoes, rice, pasta, bread) + lipids (rapeseed oil, butter) + organic season vegetables (row or cooked) and organic season fruits.

Conclusion

Prenez le temps avec votre enfant. S’il refuse un aliment, ne vous inquiétez pas ; introduisez régulièrement de nouvelles saveurs en toute tranquillité.
